with the off-day, the Cubs managed to gain a 1/2 game lead over the hot Milwaukee Brewers. The Cubs had the day off today and will face Dusty Baker’s Reds tomorrow for the start of a three game set at Wrigley Field. The Cubs will send Dempster, Zambrano and Lilly to the mound for this three game series. Dempster starts the series on Tuesday night— Dempster has been unstoppable at Wrigley going 9-0, posting a 2.71 ERA and holding opponents’ batting average to .207. The Cubs will face the likes of Harang, Cueto and Arroyo. The Cubs are undefeated against Harang this season… and hit him especially well at Wrigley. In an early April game, the Cubs scored five runs off of the Cincinnati ace. Harang is having one of the worst seasons of his career as he has started 3-10.
