The Cubs will play host to the Houston Astros later today after what was a two hour and forty-five minute rain delay last night. With the Brewers losing against the Reds last night, the Cubs maintain their lead over Milwaukee and continue to shrink that magic number.

Today’s match-up consists of Rich Harden (6-2) vs. Wandy Rodriguez (6-4). Last time the Cubs faced Rodriguez was in Houston. Rodriguez got the win as he went 6.2 innings, allowed nine hits but only one earned run to score. Harden has not faced the Astros this year.

Around the league, the Brewers will continue their series against the Cincinnati Reds while the St. Louis Cardinals play host to Manny Ramirez and the new look Dodgers.
