End of the baseball season

Published by kevinryan12 at 10:00 pm under Misc Edit This

The Cubs regular season has officially ended.  They have posted a final record of 97-64.  The National League playoff picture looks like this:

Chicago Cubs vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Milwaukee Brewers

It’s finally time for the playoffs to begin!  It seems like it’s been a while since the Cubs have played a meaningful game.  The Cubs will need to wait a few days until they play their next meaningful game.  According to MLB.com , this is what the postseason schedule will look like, with times in Eastern Standard Time:

Wednesday, October 1st
3:00 p.m. MIL @ PHI
6:30 p.m. LAD @ CHICAGO CUBS
10:00 p.m. BOS @ LAA

Thursday, October 2nd
2:30 p.m. CWS or MIN @ TB
6:00 p.m. MIL @ PHI
9:30 p.m. LAD @ CHICAGO CUBS

Friday, October 3rd
6:00 p.m. CWS or MIN @ TB
9:30 p.m. BOS @ LAA

Saturday, October 4th
6:30 p.m. PHI @ MIL
10:00 p.m. CHICAGO CUBS @ LAD

The rest is the same as it was posted in previous posts.  The times are still to be determined for a potential game four and game five (for the Cubs).

I’ll be posting up to game one with a look at the matchup and some other things.

Go Cubs!

Go Cubs Go! I was at Wrigley when they clinched, it was amazing… fans stayed for an hour at least after the game, singing the song, getting sprayed with bubbly from the players… I’m gonna enjoy this ride (hopefully for 11 more wins) while it lasts.
