Ron Santo looks to be inducted into the 2009 Class of the Hall of Fame via the Veterans’ Committee.

The list for veterans’ committee currently looks like this:

Santo is up against some competiton, but I think this should be the year for him.  Last year, he  missed out by roughly 5% of a vote in order to make it in.  I have to think that he will eventually be voted in as the margin of missing the Hall has shruken significantly each year.

We will find out Monday, December 8th when the elected (if any) will be announced.  Let’s keep our fingers crossed for Ronnie!

plus now I have a maddox, prior, and woodie…. I wanted to get a Z one, but I’m afraid to now because after I’ve gotten each of these jerseys they’ve been off the team within two years!
